Xagave Review!

A while back Xagave sent me a sample of their all-new raw agave nectar! Not only did they send me a huge sized bottle of it, but they also sent me a cookbook. Thanks Xagave! :)

First of all, this stuff is loaded with benefits. Not only is it low glycemic in comparison to refined and processed sugars, it also offers a sweet and yummy taste, similar to honey but not as bitter. I find it great to use as a syrup replacement. Or, you can even mix it with a little cocoa/carob powder to make yourself a chocolatey syrup. Serve this over some banana soft serve and you have yourself a yummy little dessert! Another plus about Xagave is it's price tag. At only around 8 or 9 dollars this is a deal. Most agave nectars are more expensive for the amount you get in the bottle. If you see this in your local grocery store, I suggest picking one up and trying it for yourself. You can even ask your grocer if they would be willing to carry it. You won't be disappointed in this new and healthy find! Upon seeing it in my kitchen pantry, my dad promptly took the lid off, squirted some on his finger, and tasted it. Nodding his head in approval, he commented, "That's good stuff!"

  3. Oooh, yummy! I love agave, I'll have to give that one a try. Are there any recipes for baked goods? I've always wanted to use it in cookies and muffins but worry about the consistency.
